Professional Trainer & Learning Designer | Turning Knowledge into Practical Skills and Workplace Performance — I’m an experienced professional trainer and learning and development specialist with more than 27 years’ experience across the UAE, Africa and Australia. My background spans competency-based training, adult learning, curriculum and learning programme design, assessment, leadership and management development, and facilitator development. My methodology is practical, learner-focused and competency-based, connecting learning to real workplace requirements and measurable capability. I design learning that helps participants build knowledge, develop practical skills and demonstrate competence. My experience includes developing and delivering management and leadership development programmes, assessor, moderator, RPL and Internal Quality Assurance development programmes, as well as apprenticeship, learnership and workforce capability programmes supporting more than 500 learners. I also designed the UAE Ministry of Defence’s first enterprise-wide Recognition of Prior Learning framework, resulting in more than 2,200 recognised qualifications. What sets me apart is the combination of extensive training experience, strong learning design expertise and deep knowledge of competency and assessment. I understand not only how to deliver engaging training, but how to design learning that is relevant, structured and aligned with the skills people need to perform effectively.
