I am an English communication coach, educator, and the Founder of The English Edge Academy, where I focus on helping professionals move beyond simply “knowing English” to using it effectively in interviews, meetings, presentations, networking, and leadership contexts. With 16+ years of teaching and training experience, my approach is practical, interactive, and communication-focused. Rather than relying primarily on memorization or traditional grammar-based instruction, I use role-play, simulations, presentations, project-based learning, guided speaking practice, real-world scenarios, feedback, and reflective learning. My goal is to create an environment where learners feel safe making mistakes, develop confidence through repeated practice, and learn how to communicate their ideas clearly and professionally. My training philosophy is built around three principles: Clarity — Confidence — Impact. I help learners structure their ideas, choose language appropriate to professional situations, speak with greater confidence, and develop the communication presence needed to participate effectively in international and multicultural environments. My professional experience includes teaching and training within UNRWA, UNICEF programmes, Pakistan International School of Damascus, and the National Training Center, where I have worked with learners across different ages, backgrounds, and professional contexts. Through UNICEF programmes, I supported 100+ learners, while my broader teaching and training experience includes 5,500+ hours of instruction. I have also designed and delivered programmes covering Professional English, Business English, IELTS preparation, career communication, presentation skills, public speaking, and interactive English learning. My work includes developing project-based learning experiences, communication workshops, English curricula, and practical speaking programmes designed around real learner needs. I am an IDP-certified IELTS Trainer and hold a BA in English Literature from Damascus University, alongside professional training in English language teaching. Today, through The English Edge Academy, I am building a professional English learning environment designed particularly for Arabic-speaking professionals who want to communicate more effectively and create greater opportunities through English.
